Training / Support / Teaching in iCALM

The iCALM has an important responsibility of promoting and coordinating educational courses on advanced microscopy techniques to ensure enhanced knowledge transfer through services and educational opportunities.

Following initatives are planned or already initiated:

Training
  • responsible for providing laser-safety training
  • personal training for safe use of the infrastructure
  • introduction in software and various image analysis tools/techniques
 

 

Support
  • comprehensive support in securing funding for members research initiatives
  • specialized support tailored to the unique needs of each project
  • image analysis support

 

 

 

Teaching
  • offering general introductions and advanced in-depth courses on essential and advanced light microscopy techniques
  • developing asynchronous online training materials for wider accessibility
  • continue and enhance existing programs such as “Super-resolution microscopy” and “Optical super-resolution microscopy” from the MSc and BSc programs at GU
